Wanted Light brackets?

I know this is a long shot but does anyone know where I can buy some light fittings from please?

I got 2 of these lights off ebay but when I got home I was told that the metal bit that goes across the top of the light (then the 2 screws on the sides go through it and attach it to the ceiling) is missing. The ones on my old lights don't fit so I'm hoping someone will be able to tell me where I could buy them online or whether it is something that could be made? It probably doesn't help that I don't know the proper name for it!

Thanks

You should have a plate that looks like this.

Simple enough to make. Screw it to the ceiling and put the two side-screws through the holes in your fitting to attach it and you're done.

I feel that you'll be lucky to find them available separately.

Are your existing ones not adaptable, with some judicious bending?

Thank you, it is the plate in the picture! Unfortunately I can't use the old ones as they are too small but I will see if I can buy a tiny bit of metal from b n q and make one, thanks.
