All You Can Eat - 9pm tonight, ITV

One-off documentary investigating the popularity of supersized meals, restaurant challenges and large-scale eating competitions in Britain and America. The programme follows a 72-year-old Brit trying to beat his own record of consuming 32 boiled eggs in a minute, and a man travelling to the US to take part in a chicken wing-eating contest. There's also an insight into a hot-dog event held in New York each year on July 4, and several eccentric home-grown gatherings such as Dorset's World Stinging Nettle Eating Championship and the Fiery Foods UK Chilli Festival in Brighton.

Haha, no-one else is stupid enough to take up the challenge, I was slightly worried that the prize might be more cinnamon...

Man vs Pancake
Are you a Champion Pancake Eater? We have launched a competition on Shrove Tuesday to see who can win the coveted title at the restaurant in Martin Street.
Customers are being challenged to see who can eat the most pancakes in 30 minutes to raise cash for the Donna Louise Children's Hospice.
There will be three categories: a junior section for those aged 12 and under, senior for 13 to 17 year olds and an adults section for those aged 18 and over.
Each contestant will be required to pay an entry fee, all of which will be donated to the children's charity. They will then face a race against time to see who can eat the most pancakes.
It will be a real challenge for those taking part as our crepes are up to 40cm in size and competitors will be allowed to eat them either plain or with traditional lemon and sugar.
Prizes for the winners of each category include a trophy, t shirt and a place on the "wall of fame" in the restaurant.
The Donna Louise Children’s Hospice provides a range of specialist care and support services for children with a shortened life expectancy and their families
