Freshen up your Windows laptop / desktop PC - BEST VALUE EVER!

I am thinking of doing a special offer for the first 4 people per week to book in for a full Windows re-install with data backup included of just £15. (A £10 saving off my usual price. I have workbench space to work on 1 desktop and 3 laptops at the same time).

Before I rush a leaflet design into the printers I thought I would put the feelers out via the forum to see if this might be a worthwhile thing to do.

I'm therefore offering this service at the moment JUST for next Thursday 15th November.

So, what would you get....

Your data (pictures, movies, documents etc.) backed up to temporary media.
Your hard drive fully wiped (re-formatted).
Windows operating system freshly installed along with all the necessary drivers for sound / video etc.
All Windows updates downloaded and applied including the latest version of Media Player / Internet Explorer etc.
Essential software installed such as Flash Player / Adobe Reader plus a free anti-virus solution.
Your data restored back to the relevant folders (Documents / Pictures etc.)

The end result is usually improved performance as the general "crap" that accumulates over time will be gone, along with the lack of annoying programs "that you never remembered installing anyway". It also guarantees that if there were any nasties lurking around in your system they will be gone!

To put this into perspective, this is usually my best value service at £25 and you can get it for just £15 under this offer. PC World would charge you £50 for the Operating system installation plus £30 for data transfer (£80 total) - PRICE BELIEVED TO BE CORRECT AT MY LAST CHECK ON 01/04/12 (just to keep myself out of the sh*t) ;)

TERMS - Nothing complicated but PLEASE READ as booking is your acceptance of the following...

This offer is currently open for Thursday 15th November ONLY.
Offer only valid for the first 1 x desktop and 3 x laptop owners to book in advance (call me on 07871 613924)
You must drop off your equipment between 4 and 6.30pm on Thursday 15th November at ST16 3PE, and collect during the same times on Friday 16th.
Email CLIENT programs such as Outlook / Thunderbird etc. are NOT backed up, so please ensure you take the necessary precautions yourself. If you access your email via a website (also called WEBMAIL) then this doesn't apply to you and you will still be able to access your emails as before.
Laptops must be supplied WITH AC ADAPTOR. Desktop computers do not need to be supplied with any cables or screens (but do please supply WIFI adaptors if used).
Printers / Scanners / Camera's and any other user programs must be re-installed again by the owner.

Ring 07871 613924 to book in, or please fire away below with any questions you may have.

Shameless plug for Wayne at WRM Computers. Carried out this service on my PC and am delighted with the service received and the perfomance so far of the PC following a tune up. Highly recommend the guy and a really nice chap who knows what he is doing. Don't even consider PC World, get the personal service with Wayne. Cheers Mate, good to have someone around who will sort out my cock ups on the pc.....

Think you are under selling yourself mate, that's a few hours work per machine!

You sell many old computers nowadays? Got some dual core pentiums I could do with sellingl off cheap. Need cases but pm me if interested and will give you the prices. Got about 3 even oldr machines too, but some of those go back to single core semprons!

Hiya tek - it's only under selling if Ionly get one job at a time through it, but I'm running a few trials to see if I can get several computers on the bench at once ;)

Regarding motherboards & kit, I only ever really get asked for laptops nowadays, although occasionally could use a motherboard when a customers desktop dies completely. I'll give you a shout if anything prevails mate incase you still have any.

Thanks :)
