Yes, I always wondered that too. You need a mortgage now to fill up so them driving round all day must cost an absolute fortune. There must be money in scrap, that's all I can say.

No, I don't think so, they were knocking to see if you were in because were going to unscrew your metal gate, or if wooden the metal door furniture, and take that too lol :)
