Just to let you know AA Silencers once again saving the day - They are currently entertaining a young husky - blue collar but no tag. He is beautiful and VERY friendly. We're hoping the owner will turn up soon, if not I might be taking him down to my vets to check for a microchip.

I imagine whoever owns him is currently very concerned. He/She (I didn't check) is fine!

I see a husky with a blue collar most days, either on the bit of the stone road near town or on the lines. Not sure it was particularly young though, was fairly pale if that helps? Will keep my ear out for anyone that has lost one.

A dog on its own on the Stone Road?? Good grief. I live on a country lane which feels like a motorway in comparison to where we used to live. Before we moved in I had the garden dog-proofed. One morning, just after we'd moved in, I let the dogs out and hadn't realised that our gate was open. The dogs heard some children waiting for a school bus and charged out at maximum wag, to say hello. The poor children must have wondered what had hit them when, seconds later, a hysterical apparition in a dressing gown appeared, convinced her dogs were about to disappear under the wheels of a car.

Is it a slim-line husky type dog, or a chunky husky? Bloke on the corner from me has a slim husky type dog - probably the same one tek-monkey sees as I'm just off the Stone Rd?

I sometimes see someone walking a husky on stone road - in fact I'm sure they have two of them. Seen them on the marshes too so they must live around here.

I had a friend, lives on North Avenue, him and his wife breed Huskys/Malamutes? Haven't got his phone number anymore to contact him. He used to walk the dogs over the common etc.
