Can anyone recommend a trustworthy garage/mechanic to get car sorted?

Managed to acquire a very loud hole in my exhaust and need it sorting asap as off on holibobs next week! My usual place in newport is booked up and I've been hesitant of booking the car into anywhere in Stafford (after a prior kwickfit 'experience') but just wondered if anyone recommended a trustworthy mechanic who won't rip off a mechanically challenged female??

Just had THE best service ever at AA Silencers, super fast, efficient, and really reasonably priced! Will definitely be using again and would recommend to anyone. Very happy customer :)

Just wanted to bring this thread back from the dead to say "thanks very much" to Mark and the team at AA Silencers for my MOT today.

Car passed with flying colours which always puts a smile on my face, but credit to Mark he was answering my e-mail late on Friday night and the service was just efficient so really pleased. Will definitely be back when I need something fixing :)
