3 hours. Sorry don't mean to be rude or anything but 3hours is a little over the top. But if it was then we are really sorry. We have improved our service a lot over the last few months, and especially since joining the forum and taking peoples advice on board. And still have space to improve. Guy's need your opinion on something I've had a company from London approach me wanting to take the Chinese side over what do you think? I was thinking to leave it but my staff reckon I should give another shot? Advice please

I think having the Chin bit of Chindia is something you should try to work with, there are already some good Indians in Stafford but you would have something they don't. Good luck with whatever you decide

The thing is Peggy even if I do our Chinese would always be a little different as we wouldn't use pork stocking and food wines like other Chinese places do. And that did cause a lot of problems last time even though we did explain this why and people just stop coming even for the Indian which I never understood. Feedback back please

might not be wise to take business advice from me, as I'm shutting the shop soon! ha! but i would always suggest that if you can't do something to it's best... cut it off. yes, the Chinese adds a unique element to your business, and i haven't tried your Chinese, but if the feedback says it's not very nice, then I wouldn't sell it. i can vouch for your Indian, its bloody beautiful! so i personally would stick with what your best at and drop the Chinese. If your Indian food is good enough - that should be enough to make your business work? i hope? Obviously if there are delivery/cost issues then those need sorting too. But I have nothing but good things to say about the service/food myself.

I tried Chindia once and found it expensive and fairly bland but that was some time ago. Happy to give it a try again based on the above.

In terms of differentiating from other takeaways how about doing a deal with the Joiners to get discounts on beer/ curries based on amount spent e.g. buy 3 pints and get 5% off curry and vice versa. Obviously not good for drivers collecting but if you had some form of voucher scheme drivers could save up and both businesses could benefit.

Perhaps deliver polypins of beer from the Joiners if they do them with your curries.

I loved the idea of that pub that was also a takeaway, so you had a drink while you waited. No idea why it didn't succeed though, so maybe not a great idea!

Hi guy's I have looked at other competitors and I am the same price or cheaper than most. So have done research before sorting my prices out. My specials are different and unique and just like a lot of places my specials will be a little more expensive than you traditional dishes. I have offers on through my online website and through normal telephone orders. And the takeaway drink thing can still work just come in order and pop over the joiners while you wait. I will do another offer soon which will involve money off vouchers.

I can't pleas everybody's taste buds but I will sure try. Sometimes when you use to eating at a certain place you aren't going to enjoy other places I know this because I am the same. Give me try and just leave feedback on my website so I can keep on improving. Want to the BEST!

Have had two takeaways from here now and have been very impressed with the house specials and the vegetable side dishes. The garlic and coriander naan is excellent. The online ordering app works extremely well and both orders were delivered within 30 minutes.

Not long lived in the area, but ordered from Chindia within a night or two of getting here, and found it excellent. Delivery guy is cheerful, prices fair, and food excellent. Must have had 20 or 30 meals since, and would recommend to anyone.

Whenever I'm up that end of town at my lads flat I always call in for a Chindia love the curry but not bothered about the Chinese... People I know that have had Chinese from there didn't enjoy it. I used to pop into the joiners for a quick pint whilst waiting but the last couple of times the beer glasses have been filthy! Does anyone know if they have improved? Did the dishwasher breakdown?

Why not drop the Chinese part of the name. I thought most Indian restaurants and take aways were Bangladeshi? Why not rename something like Bangindia?
Was thinking of changing the name to THE INDIAN but a lot of customers prefer this name even though put a stop to Chinese.

Of course, back in the days of the Raj, the British term 'India' covered everywhere from Pakistan to Burma, inclusive..

..and he's paid for the rather swish sign..
