Argos catalogue 1986

Just been looking at this argos catalogue from 1986 and spotted a brass eagle ornament that used to sit on my parents fireplace

When did the word vintage get hijacked to mean anything at all?

I still have my casio digital watch on my wrist, item 2 page 54, I didn't realise I've worn it for 28 years!
I can't remember how many straps and battery's I have changed!

I still use the alarm clock which is item 8 page 70. It still responds to voice commands as well including my daily "Shut the fcuk up" at 6am
