I often see a lady in a red jacket out that way, that isn't you is it flossietoo?

If you are all cycling through Church Eaton perhaps I need to start selling tea and cake!

I do have a red jacket, though in the last couple of weeks I've been wearing my lighter weight, lurid yellow one. I ride through Church Eaton a lot, either turning left at the T-junction and heading off towards Wheaton Aston and Brewood, or right towards Moreton and Newport. I sometimes stop for a hot chocolate in Haughton and carry my own emergency cake rations.

I will be riding that way tomorrow, timing my ride to coincide with the Dermot O'Leary show on Radio 2, with Elbow on. I'm riding solo tomorrow and always have my radio with me when I am on my own, to keep me interested. When I am sufficiently deep into the countryside, I sing along.

And before anyone complains, I only wear one headphone, so I can still hear oncoming traffic and I wear a mirror on my arm. Also, I am bright yellow, with a flashing red light on my rear. So in fairness, vehicles should see me well before I hear them.

Additionally, my beloved says that I possess "an arse that can be seen from space". So if I do ever get into an accident, they definitely weren't looking.

It was a few weeks ago, and was west of us, so I think it probably was you. I'm normally trailing in the wake of my boyfriend the slave driver who sets the pace and expects me to keep up. Last night I managed to average 15mph on our 13 mile after work route, I blame him entirely.

Cycled from Wem to Knockin & back, in Shropshire today . Parked me car at Wem. Will be part of the route I will cycle on 24th May, when I bike from Stafford to Barmouth. Was lot flatter than it will be when I get to the principality. I was only a couple of miles from the border, and close to Pant where my Granddad was born and raised. Certainly will be doing a couple of recce's, prior to the big event, particularly the hills!http://www.headwaysouthstaffs.com/donate
