I would take it to the police station - in all likelihood its been stolen someone would have filed a report with the police and they can re-unite the owner!

Saw a lost bike poster in the shop window on Marston road, can't remember the details but was an expensive looking full suspension one.

Been reported to police, not reported but they have full description and details of where bike is but didn't want to physically take the bike.

Oh how strange - I thought that they would have taken it - they have a lock up for them and if they aren't claimed they give them to Back to Bilkes the charity!
