Examples of poor driving you have witnessed!

I've said it before and I'll say it again.

Pizza deliver drivers/riders are part of the emergency services.

Or they could be complete twats, can't remember which it was now...

I noticed he had a logo on his jacket - Papa Johns!
No way? Is he still alive? I saw him whizzing round like Eddie Kidd on acid a few months ago, but I haven't seen him for a bit...

..I assumed that evolutionary pressures had had an effect..

Black Bentley, 50CT on the plate, every morning drives down Highfield Grove at about 7.50 far too fast. Nearly go us on the sharp bend twice this week.

Seen the Papa John's scooter taking shortcuts down pedestrian footpaths and skidding up to junctions then racing off revving like mad - really annoying and anti-social so not using the store out of principle.

This weeks offenders:
X9 DRG - 3 Series - Red light jumping at Island Roundabout from Foregate St.
LD56 KPJ - Accord - Red light jumping at Island Roundabout from Foregate St.
SK51 RYB - Fiesta - Red light jumping at Foregate St from Browning Street.
DX51 HFE - Saxo - Blocking two lanes from Foregate St onto Island Roundabout when obvious Gaol Rd traffic backing up.

I mortified that I incorrectly identified a tacky bit of kit as a Bentley. It must have been the Gangsta plate that confused me.

My first RTA had two 'BEs as witnesses. An M and an O.

VX13 BCU BMW X1 Police Car.

You sat at the traffic lights by Lloyds Bank on the A34 and watched not one but two cars that were ahead of me go across the lights on red. Not on amber, but on RED. The second car caused a vehicle that was going towards riverway to do an emergency stop.

You just watched this happen and did nothing whatsoever about it.

Areshole!

Chrysler will actually sell you a 'replica' Bentley bonnet for something like £600 to make your piece of crap yank-mobile look like the real thing.

I know you can't brand all Audi drivers as twats etc as one or two of them aren't, apparently, but I have yet to meet a single Chrysler 300 driver that really shouldn't be put down for the sake humanity. At the very least they are committing crimes against good taste.

He's got Bentley centres on his wheel trims as well.
In his defence he has a series one land Rover and an E-Type Jag. Minus point, he has a Harley Davidson which, I don't think has ever been further than Penkridge.

My neighbour has the 'SRT8' Chrysler 300c. Despite looks only a mother could love it's an exceptional machine - and almost unbelievably fast. Lovely inside and very smooth/comfortable/refined. Did I mention it's fast?

Coming along Queensway this morning, a first reponder vehicle came romping along behind us on blues & twos, most traffic moved over into the left hand lane all but one stupid old bint in a grey '07 reg Nissan Kumquat who stayed put in the outside lane and just slowed right down to about 20 with the first responder stuck behind her.

Great example set about 15 mins ago by the Co-op delivery lorry driver on Baswich Lane, talking into his hand held mobile as he was driving away from the Baswich Lane Co-op :-(

hats off to the driver of the light blue car (couldn't tell what it was from a distance) who just nearly wiped out an ambulance on full blues and twos at the Tesco junction...

3 drivers clearly went through on red today, Vauxhall Astra, Seat Leon, Audi A3, annoying when drivers go through on red

I don't drive, and I know red means stop (or at least I thought it did) maybe I'm mistaken

Hell of a lot of cars going through on red today, especially by LLoyds bank/riverway junction. One instance must have been 10 cars carried on through red lights coming from town and the last few were weaving inbetween the cars that had already started crossing the junction from Riverway and KFC direction. Did make a mental note of the reg of last one to turn right from town and cutting in front of me, but forgot by the time I'd parked up in Lloyds! Then again as I went back to my car there were cars still turning right on red at that junction when the pelican crossings were on green for pedestrians.

That's where I see most,

Not only cars that go through on red. A couple of weeks ago in Sheffield lights were red, pedestrian crossing lights green, several pedestrians on crossing. Typical lycra lout comes belting down the road, swerves past me and clips my disabled partner. Fortunately she wasn't hurt, unfortunately no-one managed to kick his rear wheel sideways.

A long time ago someone I knew, after a long lunchtime session at the pub, fell of his horse and broke his jaw. The police turned up and booked him for being drunk in charge of a horse. He was fined the maximum 5/- by the magistrate. The horse was not charged.
