Pubs Showing GAA (Gaelic Athletic Association)

Does anyone know any pubs in Stafford that show the GAA?

It's the SHC Semi tomorrow, Cork v Tipp and seeing as it's on Sky Sports these days it'd save having to catch a train up to Manchester to watch it, as we have had to do in the past.

Unfortunately Man City and England cricket are playing on TV at the same time, so I'm guessing the pubs will be showing these instead; but thought it'd be worth an ask.

Any info will be appreciated.

I don't know if they have Sky, but it might be worth asking in the Emerald Club on Fancy Walk/Marston Road - if they don't, they might still know something to help you.

Ta very much. I didn't even realise it was still open to be honest. I'll give them a try.

The general consensus on my Facebook seems to be that it is long gone, unfortunately.

Back to the drawing board (or streaming online instead).

Their FB page is certainly dead..

I would be surprised if anywhere else in Stafford would have it on.

Not sure I could stand it, anyway....

Ha, yeah I've seen that video. Funny stuff :)

It's stuff like this that makes it preferential to watching Man City -

Cheers, darben. A friend with Sky Sports is putting me up for this game. Hopefully something will pop up in Stafford one time soon.

Well, brace yourself for it all over again.

3-22 to 1-28 ..!

I shall be in a small, neutral enclave between the two hinterlands for the replay - feeling a bit like Belgium did, a hundred years ago....
