Laura Ashley

Does anyone know if the Laura Ashley store at Bentley Bridge is bigger than the one in Stafford?

They have got a big sale on but lots of the things that I see on line are not in the Stafford shop.

I need wallpaper/bedding etc and dont really want to order without seeing it first.

It looks to be a fair-sized unit.

Although on one floor, I'd say the Bentley Bridge store is bigger with more lines.
Good TK Maxx close by as well. We got a matching lampshade from there for wallpaper in the Laura Ashley store, which didn't stock the lampshade and was half the price of a comparable one!

The one in Stafford is quite small - plus I think about 50% of it is clothing now - not just Home

If what you want isn't in store do they not have a free returns policy in case it isn't suitable?

Yes they do but I am buying for 3 bedrooms. So for first bedroom I need duvet, pillowcase, curtains, throw. Bedroom
2 wallpaper, duvet, pillowcases, throw. Bedroom 3 wallpaper, curtains, duvet, throw.

Bearing in mind the colours look different until you get them home ....its a lot to order and then cart back if its not right.

I have already bought home about 30 wallpaper samples.

They have 50% off until Sunday so I am feeling the pressure. I have done 2 bedrooms already from Dunelm which was fine but I cant find what I want for the other rooms.
Is there anywhere else nearby that does matching wallpaper/bedding/curtains?

I know John Lewis have a lovely range but I don't think there is one nearby?

Marks and Spencers?

I think Next do matching ranges - but I find they are so wishy washy....

Done all those and nothing for me.

Went to the John Lewis in Tamworth.
I am NOT spending £100 on a throw! Thats before the duvet etc.

But also there was nothing I really liked.

I've been to the John Lewis in the Trafford Center and liked everything (my wallet did not....)

Homebase sometimes have some nice bits and bobs!

I don't know where the nearest one to Stafford is - but near me there is a Range:

It's very similar to Dunelm and really does have EVERYTHING you could ever imagine!

The Laura Ashley in Wolverhampton is much bigger than Stafford ... although still relatively modest sized.

As above, the TK Maxx is very good in Wolverhampton. They tend to stock a very good selection of home products too, much better than the TK Maxx in Stafford.

Is the Wolverhampton one the same one as Bentley Bridge or are they 2 different shops?

I popped in and yes there is more choice than Stafford.

Taking the other half tomorrow to carry the bags.
