you'll be wanting an r4i gold cart. what ds version and firmware are you on.

do you have the micro sd memory card to use and load up, or are you after both.

im on a 3ds but r4i gold is what im looking for, its something im going to reprogramm :-s for homebrew exploi im working on

Just do your full research to discover what you need first mate, as the latest firmwares block them and even with updates to the R4 itself you sometimes can't get them going again. Personally I'd suggest obtaining the very latest version number you can - brand new - online or wherever.

R4i Gold works with 3DS V7.1.0-14
I don't have a 3ds so not sure what the latest fw is. but if you are above that, or ever install fw after that for newer games, then your cart will be no good until theres a fw fix.
you'll need to install the latest woods fw onto your sd card for this cart.
I can get one for you at £10 if you are stuck finding 1, you will source your own roms, so make sure you know what you are doing.

i'm more interested in file access so it may work, theirs a way to use a modified gateway downgrade files using a ds card to get back to 4.5.
