As it was dry and fairly calm today, I decided to rectify the sidelight situation - not quite the five minute job these things used to be, but I managed to do it in the end.

Spent some of last night chasing a friends, sons, pet black rat around his kitchen, it eventually took up residence in the gas oven. We ended up pulling the cooker into the middle of the kitchen and part stripping it down to get the furry bXXXXr out. Fortunately ratty was unscathed although one of the chasers received a friendly nip.

I've had a bad hangover all day, which was a bit surprising as I've not had a drop since Monday. If I'm going to have to take the punishment I would at least like some of the fun first! :rolleyes:

Realisation has just hit that my 60th is now less than a year away :o

Feeling my age this morning after finally dropping off to sleep about 6.30am and being woke up by the neighbours lad and his girlfriend b0nking so bloody loud . Still at it a couple of hours later. Think their bed will be coming through the dividing wall if is bashes against it much more :roll:

I remember the days of hysterics as I was doing headstands against the bedroom wall when , on deciding it's about time we started a family, I was told it would increase the chances of becoming pregnant ....it worked ;)

Maybe its just a noisy washing machine?

For years we had the same elderly neighbour in the house attached to ours, the only noise we ever heard was Songs of Praise at full blast on a Sunday.....until we got new neighbours - we can now hear everything!
