Wanted Good Painter and Decorator

Hi
I have used him once before to wallpaper a chimney breast. It looked fine and the cost was low. The matching of the pattern was good, but perhaps the cuts on the edge were not 100% perfect, but my wife had bought cheap paper from Wilko's so that could have been the issue. Plus we had told him we were just sprucing up the house as it was going up for sale that week. For what we paid we were very happy and would use him again.
Being as wallpapering is a lot harder than painting I would imagine he would do a good job of that. In contrast my wife had another local decorator round to paint the hall/stairs/landing (I could do it, but would have had to hire a ladder etc). This was a rubbish job and I genuinely could have done far better myself - We are talking runs in the gloss, paint on the flooring, switches, light fittings etc.
I have also had some wallpapering done by another chap we had down from Stoke. That looked fine initially, but when you got up close there were some fairly wacky cuts and joins! I let it slide as it was for a child's bedroom, but it would have been an issue had it been a different room if you see what I mean so I couldn't recommend him.
