Yup, meal at the college and damn nice it was too! Cost just under £100 for 4 people with drinks, then a tenner tip.

On that note I was rather unimpressed with the amount of people I saw not leaving tips, I hope I missed them adding it to their bill but if not it was rather disgraceful. The students work for free, how else can you get a meal like that for under £20 a head? All tips are used at the end of the year for a day out and a meal for those that finish the course, so if you do go and like what you've had please show your appreciation.

Porridge with honey. True sign that hubby is away!
May crack open one of the children's Easter eggs for pudding when they've gone to bed, knew I shouldn't have bought them so early.

This is in my fridge as we sort of speak.

A leg rather than a shoulder and i'm salivating already.

This fecker is going to be cooked tomorrow, the recipe doesn't call for any kind of long marinating but i already know it will be the better for it - the smell of the rub still lingers where i sit and it's heavenly.

Bring it on.

Lamb rogan josh, using left over lamb from yesterday. Just underdone enough so as not to overcook in the curry.

Mrs T's daughter is cooking for us tonight so whatever it is will be tasty and disgustingly healthy.
Meat revenge tomorrow if the weather holds I'm barbequing.

Last night should have been beans on toast, sadly it wasn't until after i tucked the little people up i realised they had eaten the last of the bread. So beans on plate for one it was.

Husband is back. Sea bass for dinner.
Is the one an inevitable consequence of the other, Peggy?

If it is - and I'm not being judgmental or anything - but have you or he ever considered a nice chicken tikka masala for a change? I mean, does he just get home, whip out the old fish kettle and start clattering about in the kitchen and there's you thinking oh no, him and his sea bass, I could murder a spag bol?

If husband is home then im guaranteed a decent meal, unfortunately I'm not much of a cook and don't tend to have much of an appetite or interest in food. If I'm home alone then the days food will most likely consist of yoghurt and porridge, at a push I might opt for beans but usually porridge with a little honey is the safest bet.

Thai green curry...

...we usually have Thai red curry as I can't stand Corriander - but I've given in to the husband & bought the green paste (no, I didn't make the paste) - its delicious, there won't be any left for tea if I keep tasting it....

Had friends drop by so decided to feed them. Fajitas, sweet potato wedges, rice & peas. Supping Brahma as I type this. They only popped in to say hello at about 6:30, just left.

poached salmon and a rice/tomato/mushroom/onion/garlic/pepper/courgette/risottoish type concoction.
