Does anyone know the route for this?

The villagers in Doxey seem to think it is coming through our streets

I can offer cantilever deck chairs complete with Tizer and Potato Puffs for especial price if it is

My mate did the Stafford half last year, and there was somebody on the route handing out cans of cider.

I understand the route will indeed be heading Doxey way - they've had to change it this year as Severn Trent are digging holes on the Milford road

The exact route hasn't been released yet, but I believe it's heading through Doxey then making it's way through the lanes and eventually ending up coming back past the castle into town

I'm not running this year on doctors orders Done the last 2 and will be back next year!

We will be stuck in the house for the duration so the spaniels and I will make the best of it by handing out squash and *words of encouragement*

I am doing it myself too. Training is going well, I am not a runner but no problems so far.

Looks like they had some problems taking the route the way they were going to go - Beaconside is going to be be a long slog!

Not long got home from my first attempt at a half marathon. It was brilliant the support from everyone was fantastic and a all round great event.

Glad you enjoyed it, well done - I was cheering everyone on from the St Thomas Lane/Tixall Road junction, everyone did really well

Hopefully I'll be back out there next year!

Well done to all those who ran the half.

Enjoyed years of running myself in the past and was one of the original members of Stafford Harriers when it was first formed .Most frustrating that my knees are now knackered from all that pounding over the years, and I can no longer run. (The Harriers tracksuit top is still going strong though....son now pounding the streets in it)
