OMG! you could be a safe cafe for the daters to meet in! heheheeeeeee :)

what do you mean safe? Like gossiping proof from others? Thinking of tinted glazing?

Is there an artisan bakery in town? Imagine making your own sourdough with
yeast from stafford and so on. Although you need to work your ass off especially in the
early morning :(

There could be a compromise on the coffee issue, a bean grinder is not an expensive item, nor is a cafetiere, use the instant but have a back up.

Am I right in thinking this shop is mostly going to be for the computer business? Can you undercut the PC W****rs superstore on price and offer a better service?

A café as a 'while you wait' area is great and to have it open to everyone seems like a good idea. I think you need to charge by sale rather than per week and the book shop thing seems to be a popular one, it doesn't even have to cost much, it could be along the lines of the re sale option above but just for books, you take a percentage and so does the owner.

If you're in town you're missing a trick with the phones, if you could do a 'while you wait' screen repair you'd be the only person in Stafford that does.

Good luck!

The best location in town has to be the Mercedes garage frontage, corner of Victoria and Railway

Make it a micro bar too please

It's only a bunch of foreign cars - why would they need the space...

The NCT sales are always packed with people trying to pick up bargain, quality second hand children's clothes and toys. Maybe something like the upmarket second hand ladies clothes shop but for children?

What I would suggest is don't open a record shop that opens at random hours, or an ecigs shop that looks like a brothel, or a hairdressers/bar that blacks out its windows therefore looking completely uninviting. That's what I suggest.

Coffee shop thats a bit relaxing/laid back would be definitely up my street. But not up my street, parking is already a mare.

I think there's something in this - I've seen around Barcelona where my mum lives a lot of baby 2nd hand / agency type shops with prams and clothes. There are occasional sales and facebook groups but we've got large piles of clothes and toys Brit has already grown out of we don't quite have anyone to pass on too.

I assume because of the volume of stuff there's a lack of things in charity shops to browse though.
