What are we watching on TV?

We very rarely watch anything 'as it happens' on TV. Record the odd thing to watch later but mostly watch Box Sets on Sky. Recently we have watched all four seasons of Falling skies which we found totally addictive and brilliant and all four seasons of Strike back - also brilliant but a different kettle of fish to Falling skies.
Can highly recommend both if you like aliens taking over type stuff (Falling skies) or ex SAS soldiers saving the world (Strike back).

Have been watching The Syndicate on Tues nights and Balck Work on Sunday nights.

Thoroughly enjoying both of them.

We've recorded it, and shall be watching it on Tuesday evening, I'm working till then. I won't be watching any new series' with Chris Evans in, can't stand the bloke.

I am not keen on Evans either, although he is a bit of a car nut, will probably watch the first episode to see what happens. Jezza is working on a new show but not necessarily available to all, like TG, on free to air TV ?

Youngest said earlier he might watch the first couple of shows. He'll be on his own.
It's my guess Clarkson, May and Hamster will either sell their show to either Dave, or Channels 4 or 5. Whichever it is, I'll bet that it will be that stations biggest television audience, that is if they keep the format similar to Top Gear. Apparently Evans is advertising for co-presenters, he will have to go a very long way, in my very own personal opinion, to beat the 3 previous occupants of the Top Gear hot seat.

Sarah millican, thoroughly modern. Can't quite laugh completely pain free, but I'm giving out a go.

I was required to watch Ireland's Wild River tonight - I wasn't sure that I was looking forward to it, but it turned out to be by Colin Stafford-Johnson, who does make good programmes of this nature. Well worth a watch.

An unusual river in these islands, it flows through some large lakes and doesn't really serve any industrial areas - by far the largest place being Limerick, just at the start of the estuary, and that's not much bigger than Stafford.

Surprise surprise, they featured an organisation I had recently started to follow on Facebook called 52 lives. It's a wonderfully heart warming organisation, it's easy to forget there's so much good in people.

I was playing with the remote control last night and flicking through the channels trying to find something to watch and i came across a program about a spiritualist names George Anderson - anyone else watch it - it thought it was unbelievable how can he know such personal information about the people. I looked him up and it says
For decades, George Anderson has used his extraordinary gifts to help grieving families communicate with their loved ones in heaven. A humble, natural-born medium, he has been communicating with spirits since childhood.
George Anderson is a pioneer in the world of mediumship. According to his website, his accolades include:

  • being the "most scientifically tested medium of this century"
  • being the "only medium invited to Holland by the holocaust-surviving members of the Anne Frank family."
If that weren't impressive enough, he is also the author of the best-selling Lessons From the Light, and Walking in the Garden of Souls. In addition, he is the subject of the best-selling We Don't Die.

what do formuites think stuff like this

I've not got the patience for any of that mumbo jumbo nonsense. I'd be shouting at my TV in 2 seconds flat

I didn't see the program, when I have seen something similar I have not felt convinced the mediums have a line to the other side. I did see a film a few years ago with a story line about psychics/mediums called Red Lights.
I enjoyed It, It was 2012 so should be on TV at some point. :mystery:
