I knew Colossal (member) and Florence before any virtual knowings, but didn't know i knew who they were until i did.
I tangentially knew Gramaisc, but only really properly met him via the forum.

I don't think our fairy- friend counts in this instance, but if she does, then there is that.
Since then i've met a few - Jade-clothing for one, though apparently she has only 'met' me. I'm unsure quite what difference there was on
her side but on
this side of the meeting it felt more like a met. Many 50p pieces were exchanged, but no bodily fluids.
I once saw the back of MyCult's head - can't deny i still feel that was something of an honour, i have something of a man-crush thing going on, which probably accounts for the fact that he doesn't post here anymore... Same evening i met tek for the first time - have met and meandered many times since - and shoes, who is a very large fellow. Also Andreas Rex, who i have seen again only once in my recollection, but i suspect it may be more times,and that i have entirely unintentionally 'blanked' him at some point, a thought that makes me sad.
Talking of which, i'm pretty sure i saw shoes something like a month or two after ^the above multi-meet, and despite him being a rather unforgettably looking fellow, i wasn't 100% sure it was him, it was whilst at work, and he was (if it was indeed he) with Cheap Date, so i was a bit conscious of the subsequent 'where do you know him from?' sort of interrogation and didn't want to potentially land him in it - i did the decent thing and waited for
him to recognise
me... But he didn't so i let it go.
Met Trumpet, ToriRat and Lunar @ one of the excellent music nights at the sadly departed PandaHouse - where of course i met Mr Pie & Ale.
Same thing happened to me a month or so after, though this time i was a bit more bold - thought this chap in the library was Trumpet, nodded in greeting, he didn't look like he knew me at all. Pretty sure that
wasn't Trumpet, and some guy thought i was coming on to him in Stafford Library.
I've met wmr - @ his awesome light show and as a punter - *insert shoes quote here.
Met redstar and herbie with the 2012 Olympic 50p piece thing - also 'met' Jade-clothing via this avenue, didn't feel substantially different.
Met My Name is URL when he had some roof felt orf of me, Em K/L/are we on to M yet?/ when she had a child seat orf of me ,some bloke wot name escapes when he took a filing cabinet orf of me, and Mr B'Stard when he was after a mannequin.
@citricsquid has, thus far, been the only one to answer the roll call for the mtb club - talking of which, thinking meet at Milford for the next one, have an up, down, beastly up, fairly monsterish down, quite bad up, slightly hairy down, then home type thing - which i find a bit disappointing,,but your man citricsquid is a very lovely person with which to go biking with, so one can't complain.

@Darren ,answering the call of one of our newest. I was going to be cheeky and ask for a cup of tea, but bottled at the last. TBF i was on a schedule that turned out to be not so tight as i thought, but i wasn't to know that at such an early stage.
