I was walking past yesterday and was lucky enough to be allowed in to have a nosey, the whole place has been done to a really high tasteful spec I'm really looking forward to it being open.

Very pleased to report my excellent dining experience here today!

Along with Mohawk Pete and another good friend, we had a table booked for 4pm. Very early, so we were the only patrons at the time. It's been done out really nicely, with an extension added to one side and some lovely skylights letting lots of light into the back of the restaurant.

All the food was beautiful, all the portions were big, all the service was grand and lovely.

Our Starters included; Crab Cakes - tasty and fresh; Calamari - fried in a light batter, very well cooked, not a hint of rubberness to them, a great big portion; Soft Shell Crabs - fried with their edible shells on, absolutely gorgeous.

We all sampled each other's food and agreed it was all great. Seriously good food which gave us tons of confidence and excitement in the Main Courses.

I had ordered Lobster Thermidor, but sadly the fresh Lobster had been held up on delivery and not arrived yet. Though disappointing, this freshness gives me high hopes for enjoying it in the future.

One of us had the seared tuna steak, and this was big, thick and juicey. I was immediately jealous when I saw this gorgeous steak, as goo tuna is one of my favourites. It was a big portion served with veg.

Myself and Mohawk Pete had Seafood Linguine. Another really great portion of food. The sauce used here was fantastic, really something special. The Linguine was full of mussels, clams and prawns and it was one of the best meals I've ever had in a restaurant.

All the meals were truly great, with excellent portion sizes. If anyone thinks the meals look pricey, think again. Taste and portion size mean these meals are more than worth it. The staff and manager/owner were great, and if the food we had tonight is anything to go by, we can't wait to try all the rest (especially the thermidor!).

It was so good, the three of us immediately booked a table for fortnight's time, so we can return and enjoy more delicious food! The ribeye and T-bone steaks should be absolutely excellent, given the standard of the kitchen and food. We all can't wait.

I can't urge people enough to try this restaurant out!
