Today's stupid driver is awarded to the moron driving the Arriva double decker bus in Stafford at midday (Registration Number FJ08 LVP ( No.74 service)). The idiot drove through the red light by Cress Security and blocked all the traffic travelling northbound on the A449 Wolverhampton Road. As a result of his stupid driving he created a situation whereby no vehicles could travel northbound until his large double decker bus moved out of the way.

The biggest problem with Stafford traffic is the drivers. Too impatient or too stupid to keep roads / junctions clear.

The shrouds on these lights at Junction 14 are normally fairly battered from being struck by passing trucks - they were replaced, yet again, a couple of weeks ago and have survived this far. It would interesting to know when the are finally hit again.

Buses are exempt from the rules of the road and bus drivers are exempt from intelligence.

I suspect your right Proactive, however I have complained to Arriva. Will they respond / do anything about it? Probably not, however it's made me feel better.

Until SBC / SCC paint some yellow boxes and install cameras at traffic lights / yellow boxes morons will continue to jump red lights and block junctions and create unnecessary gridlock.

Asda car park last week - someone parked across 2 spaces. Luckily, I had a pen and paper handy so able to stick a note under their windscreen wipers saying: Don't be so selfish -park properly next time.
I used to have a bundle of pre-printed "arse-parking" forms"
I couln't resist buying these fake parking tickets the last time I was in The USA.
!
Oh yes.... i'm adapting these

Not a problem specific to Stafford, but why do people who are obviously poorly sighted drive in the dark? Had the misfortune to follow someone like this from Stafford to Newport the other night. Despite the fact it's, in the main, a 60mph road, the driver in front of me never went faster than 40 and slammed on his brakes everytime a car came towards us. It became clear they were struggling to see where they were going. Surely people are able to realise they have a sight problem and not drive when it's dark?

Some people are also nervous drivers particularly in the dark

All due respect to a female in my family, if my wife is reading this, it's not you, it's definitely another female in the family, you don't know her, but this female that's not my wife, should not be let behind the wheel of a car in the dark. I have seen some scary shit but there is a reason I drive at night.

Then take up another form of transport. A car can kill, if theyre that nervous that they only go at just over half the speed limit and slam on they're brakes every time another car approaches they are a danger to themself and others on the road. My advice, stay off the road and think of the other innocent people!!!

Some more fun on my journey from newport tonight. Old battered car driven by someone who looked Eastern European, driving very very slowly in to town on the Newport Road. Indicated to go right when he went straight over the roundabout by castlefields, and when he reached the lights by the old Bethnay Project he stopped for the red traffic light in the left hand lane. The left filter green light came on and said driver realised he needed to be in the right hand lane to go straight after all. He therefore moved forward in to the box to allow those going left to proceed, and he then reversed back in to the right hand lane to wait at the still red light. A moment of true driving genius!!

Unfortunately you can't control what other people do and you just have to let it wash over you getting stressed about it will only make the driver who is annoyed about other drivers more annoyed which can be as equally as dangerous.

I have an incident of dangerous cycling to report. My sister came to pick me up last night and parked outside. I walked out of the drive and was very narrowly missed by a young girl cyclist whizzing along the pavement at a speed that would have impressed Jeremy Clarkson. She slammed her brakes on as i stepped back. she was such a nice young lady and so apologetic, I hadn't the heart to push her into the hedge and waved her on.

I got in the car and further down the road we saw her whizzing along the pavement at unreduced speed. She then narrowly missed a male pedestrian, who turned around looking shocked. She took off along Riverway at increased speed. I hope she wasn't going too far or it would have been a busy night for the paramedics.

Or didn't care there's an old lady who drives around who doesn't stop at roundabouts she doesn't seem to either know you're suppose to give way or she doesn't give a dam, but either way she just doesn't look, twice I've met her on the same mini roundabout and had to break sharply

Red Peugeot by any chance?
