My dad did a stint as a roadie for the Climax Blues Band, wonder if your uncle remembers and Andy Sutherland. Also known as A Van Smasher after an unfortunate incident with a tour van!
Who's your dad

Erm, Andy Sutherland! Can't remember when it was now, got a postcard from Germany so know they were there, think they went around quite a bit of Europe. We are talking a LONG time ago though, I'd say at least 15 years.

Erm, sorry but wasn't clear Andy was your dad. I know your dad, I was good mates with your aunt, Karen, I still see Doreen, Dave now and again( used to baby sit Zowie). Small world. Last time I saw Pete was at his mums funeral and he still lives in Germany, I think Frankfurt.

this thread has gone from "Famous People From Stafford" to "Tek-Monkey's Extended Family" lol..

You know that seven degrees of Kevin Bacon thing, or whatever the hell its called? Well in Stafford it seems there's only 3 steps between me and anyone else! Not sure I've met anyone 'new' in a few years, they always know either a mate or a family member.

Does that make me famous? ;)

Does Sue work in Asda?

We're going to find out soon that we all know each other, discover that at some stage we have all fallen out with each other or dislike each other for one reason or another and aren't talking.

She does indeed, so I guess you still know her. Reckon she'll get scared if I said some stranger on t'intermaweb was saying she knew where she worked? ;)

I'm now curious if I'll recognise you, you out tomo? I'll be down the bird at least, think we're off to the uni after though.

ok, how come i only just found out the other day that jonathon ive went to walton high school?? never heard of him? that's because he shuns the media, doesn't do interviews, etc.. in fact, as i type this i realise that putting him in the "famous people" thread is probably a bit paradoxical lol..

that being said, there probably isn't a single one of us who hasn't handled his output (hurr :haw:).. he designed the ipod, imac, and basically everything that dragged apple back from the brink of bankruptcy!

i wonder if benji britton or mr. clay taught him everything he knew?

Yeah, an old workmate knows his family. His mum has had lunch with Mr Jobs several times when over visiting!
