Peter, things are changing by the day! Shaw Lane were due to play Goole at home tonight. That was called off due to a waterlogged pitch, however the league have confirmed that they have rearranged this for tomorrow (Wednesday) night. This means that they will play Goole in the league and Wed, a county cup game on Thursday and a league game with Kidsgrove on Saturday. All on a pitch that they have shared with Barnsley RUFC, all season. This being part of the reason they have had so many games called off.
The weather forecast in that area isn't for lots of sun!

Rivals drew tonight, 3-3.
In a nutshell, if we better their result on Saturday we win the title. If not, we wait on their other results and we have to win again.
Get yourselves down Marston Road on Saturday!

The league have now also confirmed that the league trophy will be at the game in Saturday, just in case results go our way!

We go again on Saturday needing a point for the title, unless Shaw Lane fail to win both of their games. With a crowd of 1250 it was a bit like the old days. No, not jumpers for goal posts, an atmosphere! If we had the Shed there it would have been a case of being able to hear the crowd a long way away!

Shaw Lane have tonight won their final home game by coming from behind to win with an injury time goal while hundreds of Rangers fans were watching progress online and ready to celebrate! You really couldn't make it up! Now the situation is Shaw Lane have to win and we have to lose for them to nick it on goal difference and we need at least a point at Coalville to confirm the title is ours. 3 coaches plus a few mini buses and loads by car so we will witness our biggest away following in probably ten years.

No finger nails left, had no hair anyway, dunno what to do next?
Up The Boro!

Been a bit quiet on here! Might still be a few spinning heads!
Yes, WE ARE CHAMPIONS! Right down to the wire and won it by a point, in the end.We took well over 600 fans to Leicestershire for our 1-1 draw with Coalville and it wouldn't be hard to look on social networking and see scenes of celebration. Lots of shot nerves, lots of finger nails bitten but we got there and now we look forward with loads of optimism. This week's Newsletter will carry 11 pages of news, views and interviews so we are getting loads of coverage, Our social networking sites have been inundated and we have had recognition from far and wide.

We have also released our ticket prices for next season and announced we will be playing a West Brom team in our friendlies.

We have our community back!

That's brilliant. :) Let's hope, in time, we get another Staffordshire team into the professional Football League. However, can I say one thing. Tell whomever it was responsible for the Stafford Rangers advert on Stafford FM regarding being able to watch sport in the lounge, that it's the Premier League, not the Premiership. That's unless it's advertising Scottish football or English rugby matches. Other than that - up the 'boro!!!!!!
