Wanted - Due to ARSON ATTACK!! A cheap run around car just to get me to Rugeley and back for work. Preferably 12 months MOT and as many months tax as possible. The cheaper the better but will pay more for reliability. Condition, not so important…..don’t see the point in having a posh car if idiots are going to set fire to it!

My misses is selling her Fiat Cinquicento Sporting mate, p-reg, 50,000 miles, 12 months mot, not sure on tax... bit of a girly car so probs no good but let me know if interested...

She did use this for awhile but the time she needs to catch said bus it's always full to bursting with college kids. Not a pleasant journey at all.

Thing is I am a bike lover but am fed up with initial responses of get on yer bike without considering practicalities.

I used to cycle 100-120 miles per day at training pace before I came here, but commuting to work often is a different story...

move to rugeley and get a bike, problem solved. i imagine it's more difficult to set fire to a bike.

Erm, She already lives in Rugeley so problem solved er, NOT.

But all this is elementary as she now has a car and is going to flog the house in Rugeley and move to Stafford. Good choice!

Ok, things are getting abit heated here so I think we'll leave it here, thanks for the USEFUL comments and info and no thanks go to certain people that just want to display attitide on here me thinks. Got a car now anyway, so I think the thread should end here! Cheers for any useful advice. :D
