So we rushed into taking the caravan away for the first time. Not really knowing what to do and how to work it we decided to book a site near Northwich as didn't want to drag it too far on its maiden voyage.

Managed to muddle through it and were sat down with the BBQ lit and the Pimms poured within an hour of arriving.

Only things forgotten - an option other than flip flops for me and some butter.

Blinkin LOVE it!!!

Can't wait for our next adventure.

We've been roasting here in Thruxton for the BTTC this weekend. So glad I went for the a/c as it's made the evenings nights nice and comfortable.

2.5 hour drive home though later with the usual numpties hogging the middle lane of the M5 at 55mph!

Just got back from ours. If I had the money I would have a motor mover! Also you can get caravan friendly sat navs.
I've just put some discrete pots of cat litter to absorb the damp. You can by proper stuff. I put throws over the seats as they soon mark. A spirit level is handy for pitching and always leave the fridge door open when you come home... I've forgotten to do this so I'm expecting mouldy fridge :(

I've had a look at them, though they seem to be a lot of money just for convenience, I think we'll just have to see how we get on. Hubby is used to towing ( not caravans admittedly) but it may be something we consider if we struggle.

Next purchase for the caravan will be a George Forman type grill, or possibly the bbq which looks amazing. Didn't cope very well on the disposable ones over the weekend, sausages were instantly black on the outside while still raw in the middle, we did manage to salvage just enough.
