Wanted Crooner required

My friend's mum is getting married in September and I've been charged with sorting music and cake. Cake is the easy bit, but I'm hoping to find a crooner to sing some songs as well. The happy couple are in their 70s, and this is exactly what they want.

They're not wanting live music all evening, so the requirement is for someone to sing when people are entering the venue (Oddfellows Hall) and another 45-60 mins after that.

Anyone have any ideas, please? This is not my genre whatsoever, and I've already asked the people I know who might be able to help....to little avail.

When I was a KJ, I was quite well known in Stafford for my Mack The Knife, Aint That a Kick In The Head and Beyond The Sea. However the 50 roll-ups a day hasn't helped so I'm not as on-spot as I once was.

Also, it's likely I'll already have a photo booth booking anyway which buggers it up for you otherwise i might have been tempted. ;)

Hope you don't mind me asking but how much is he?

I asked him for a quote based on 30 mins while people are making their way into the venue and an hour or so later on, and he said he charges £150 for the day. He's got some sample videos on his Facebook page but you have to befriend him in order to see them.
