Revolution - not the best start with a fight

I've been to Revoilution a couple of times at various times of the day and they are attracting a different set of customers than the former 'Littern Tree'. I've seen mature couples and young families there during the day and a mix of ages in the evening.

From my experience this bar isn't (in the main) attracting the same young idiots that went to the Littern Tree.

Me & hubby popped in on Saturday night to see what it was like, supposedly on our way to the The Swan..... ended up spending the rest of the evening in there. Thought it was just what Stafford needed, although rather expensive for cocktails and shorts (The drinks promotional offers weren't on when we went.) The draught cider and lager which we stuck to was kept well, and prices for those on parr with The Swan and similar places. A mixture of all ages when we were in, and a great atmosphere (Only thing that let it down was the smell in the ladies loos. Posh looking as they were , they smelt like Spanish airport loos! A few other people were commenting on them as well)

I always judge a place if I'll go back or not on the state of its loos, I always think if they can't get the basics right where the customers go what the hell goes on in the kitchen. I never liked the place when it was the Littern tree however I shall give it a go but make sure I go to the loo elsewhere first!

My daughter and I went there when it first opened - we stuck to the two for one offer on cocktails - it was about 5.in the evening. We both had pizza which took about thirty mins to arrive. The waitresses were very young but they were friendly and apologetic for the 30 min wait. I think they were all trying the best to provide a good service and the food and cocktails were excellent.

We shall certainly go back the cocktails are delicious.

In good restaurants the waiting on staff will communicate to each customer how long they might have to wait for their meal

They will do this because they will have communicated with the kitchen staff as to the number of covers currently being serviced

Just because there are seats .... etc etc
