Wanted Socket Set (with ratchet)

Ideal for general car maintenance work, so presuming 3/8 to 1/2. Price wise, I don't want to go above, say, £40, but happy to pay less if it looks like a good deal. Cheers.

It can be worth checking your nuts.

In particular, there are 12mm, 13mm and 14mm hex-heads out there for M8 threads, and not all sets will have all.

For £40, you should be able to get a fully functional set - or two sets - there are few really rubbish sockets sets around these days, though some are better than others - it is usually the ratchet that will fail.....

Cheers. I ended up buying a £15 set off eBay. I'll probably not end up using it but it'll rattle nicely in the boot of the car when I go round corners.
