After prolonged rain advice to all "do not park in the underground sections of the New Car parks " these are flood storage areas , but to stop cars floating away install bollards !!! Interesting read on planning website on the flood risk assessment , mostly the areas are council employee car parking so the owner can get out and sharpish !! Hopefully

Another great build we have in Stafford , 4D shopping experience try our typical British weather department , lets hope the builder pays for the damage and not the people of ST16 in there insurance premiums .

Interestingly, the roof failed in the rain yesterday.

And by that I mean "The display windows were pouring in with rain". Just seen a video of it.
Quality stafford building :stafford:

******SENSE OF HUMOUR FAILURE******

My comment of Phones4U was a joke..... and I was looking on the LXB website.

well someone trying to convey a sense of humour or jest could be well served applying a smiley or emoticon so as to relay a lack of seriousness.

Believe or not the Internet doesn't allow one to view facial expressions ;)

To be honest the roof is unlikely to be an issue. Buildings in the country are not built to withstand the worse case scenarios like record levels of rain. Buildings are built to cope bit to such a point

You look at man city last night, good job it was called off because the fans would have been soaked as the roof leaked in about 20places. It simply couldn't cope with the constant down poor so it gave way. A bit like my own roof unfortunately, never had a bloody so it couldn't bloody cope anymore :(

seems like Riverside was similar last night, simply got to a point that there to much rain for the guttering that collects the rain from the roof and it overflows.

Just terrible when these things happen lol

Not yet but it will it is flood compensation ,together with council staff only car parking so they can notify immediately and remove like the North Walls car park was or still is unless it has been raised !! Note to Gareth look at the Flood Risk assessment the bollards will stop cars floating away

Man city game called off due to Electrical storms like the ones in World Cup a few years back , I think of all places that can cope with Rain is Manchester , when it rains it rains !!

Spouting nonsense since the day I learned to talk
At least pieces of cladding haven't started falling off like they did at Scaffoldshire Place.

Happened to Tenpin twice, shops still closed at 11.30am today, on the one side, M&S side seemed unaffected
