HELP on Malwarebytes please...

Malwarebytes has come up with a message that it's detected some nasties and quarantined them.

When I go into 'History' it has a screen saying there are quarantined threats and also got boxes saying 'delete' , 'restore' etc but they are greyed out and clicking on them does nothing.

Gone into 'Application Logs' and brought up this, with options to delete. If I delete am I deleting any of the malwarebyte functions with I shouldn't , or just getting rid of unwanted stuff? And will deleting those get rid of the quarantined items?

Do you need to 'select'the items that you want to delete? If none are selected, the boxes will be greyed out...

Tried putting a tick in the boxes on the quarantined page , but the delete options still remained greyed out

Haven't touched that 'Applications' page yet incase I'm knocking off something I shouldn't.

Enjoying a drop of red.
Easiest thing would be to run the scan again. This time, when it's finished just click the remove button that appears in the bottom middle of the prog and let it do it automatically.

Does it actually look like that?

You should have a list of individual suspect items that haven't been deleted yet, if there are any.

Now Sorted :)

Went to run the scan again and it automatically brought up the 3 quarantined threats concerned and recommended deleting them from that screen. Led me through the process and now gone :)

Thanks @proactive and @Gramaisc  (And thanks to @wmrcomputers for ensuring a few years ago that I have the full Malwarebytes version installed  . Been making it work for it's money !)

Looked like that on the screen I got into before, but when I went to start the scan again it brought up a different screen with a list of all the details of the 3 individual threats with boxes to tick.

I ain't googling anything remotely suspect mentioned on here anymore :D . Latest threat came up after googling calories in Marmite this morning, although hubby was on his footie sites (as far as I could see :strange: ) at the time the warning came up ......

Q - I have a version of Malwarebytes on my PC.

I now have a new PC, do I need to purchase this software again or is there a way to use it twice or maybe discount for PC 2

I can't recall how I purchased it, presumably by download

Presumably you have the "Premium" edition on the current machine? You can, as described above by Noah, install the free parts on the new machine.

@wmrcomputers will, no doubt, be along at some point...

I believe that you could transfer the Premium edition to the new machine, if you're just using one of them, but you may need to now the activation code.

I have the premium edition and have used the same activation code on new devices and it's worked ok.
