My old man was a coalman with Smith & Machin in the Goods Yard, I recall as a young kid helping him on a Saturday then him and his work mates all going the Railway Club for a well earned pint.

Thought it transmuted into Burton Manor Sports & Social Club which I understood had folded after a fire in 2008. However -

Maybe we ought to change the title of this thread from "Railway Club?" to something more Stafford club generic?
