Can hear what sounds like explosions :hmm:

Getting ready to fork out even more money, and wishing I'd never heard of Plumbits!
Waiting for bath repair man to come and fix yet another big hole that's appeared at bottom of bath . :ohno:
(Only had bathroom done 3 years ago and so far.. Broken shower screen on arrival, leaking hole in bath after couple of months, broken toilet seat hinges, replacement toilet cistern needed after few months, and now this bloody great big hole appeared and bath bloke pointed out bottom of bath is rippled.)

A couple of nights ago I was walking up the Stone road at about midnight, a car drove past and threw a lit firework at me, thankfully they were either not trying to maim me, or have terrible aim, because it landed about 10 feet in front of me and I survived the explosion. Didn't get their number plate in time. Maybe they accidentally blew themselves up later on that night.

Aiming sideways from a moving vehicle is not easy - John Glenn spent hours sitting in a room rotating once every six seconds whilst throwing tennis balls into a waste-basket. That was high-tech training back then.

Spent longer than I should trying to understand why people spend their life sitting in their car on a Sunday dwaiting for a McDonalds drive though. I am genuinely perplexed and worry about what sort of people live in this world where that is their priority on a Sunday when there are hundreds of great things in this world to do.

Can anyone give me some reasons why people wish to do the above?

Yes I can give you loads of reasons.

Perhaps they are visiting the area and have just walked 10 miles on Cannock Chase and realised that they left their picnic at home. Short of time, full of fresh air and hungry they decide they fancy a McDonalds.

They are in the process of renovating a house and have spent all day covered in plaster and cement. No time to cook, let's have a McDonalds.

They eat healthily all week and they like a cheat day now and again.

Or perhaps like me, left home without breakfast, busy day, it gets to 3 0 clock and you realise you haven't eaten. Yes I could stop off at a petrol station and buy a sandwich but sometimes a McDonalds hits the spot like nothing else.

What I want to know @kyoto49 is this...

What makes you so perfect that you feel that you can sit in judgement of others?

Just because someone happens to be buying takeaway food on a Sunday doesn't give you the right to make a total assessment on their lifestyle.

Bought tickets for Two Door Cinema Club in Brum recently, and grabbed some tickets for Jonathan Pie at the Gatehouse the other day, and finally today bought some tickets to see Ian Prowse at the Slade Rooms in Wolverhampton in March.

Yay to my social life :)
