Thinking I must be the ' other walking woman' .... After so many people saying they keep seeing me pop up everywhere, just shared a taxi from the rank and the bloke recognised me from spotting me walking ... Cheers mate

TBH the game usually lasts way too long and I get pissed and want to go to bed so just all in regardless. Not that I've played for several years as they usually play NYE when I'm not about.

Update on this post from May:
A large number of police just turned up (a few cars and a van) to the back of the drug dealers property, presumably to arrest them. Looks like the dealers weren't in though as the police left empty handed, but maybe they'll come back and grab 'em some other time, or perhaps they've taken flight and are gone with the wind.

I've spent all day hearing people proudly announce that they've removed all the decorations and cleaned the house, sorted the kids toys away etc etc and feel so much better now. I'm sat here thinking, mine haven't been up a week yet and as far as i'm concerned it's still the festive period. Be merry while you can people, you have plenty of time to be 'clean and tidy'. Mine are staying up at least another week lol

Spent an hour manually configuring a VPN on my router while hungover, dropped my internet speed to 1/6 of what it should be. Worked fine on my desktop, guess the router can't cope

I am, but use another router on my side of the network (WD MyNet 750). Didn't even check the vpn on my SSE router as I knew it would be crap, but didn't realise the other one was too!

Christmas went along quite well this year; guests all arrived on time and no burnt turkey. The oil boiler tried to throw a spanner in the works when it started making smoke and filled the kitchen with an acrid smell but managed to get it fixed before it gassed everybody. The only annoying thing has been losing my watch; it must be in the house somewhere but has not appeared in the usual places. I find if I stop looking for lost things they turn up, so am now officially not looking for it.

Mine go up1st dec and stay up until 6th Jan. Can't under stand those who put loads up, and then can't wait to get them down..straight after boxing day.
