Hey Guys!

If, like me you are shouting "THIS IS AN OUTRAGE" at the prospect of missing the Mighty Boosh gigs this year due to sell outs everywhere and not being prepared to sell all of your organs on Ebay just to grab a glimpse of Vince and Howard then I have an idea...... :D

I have sent the guys a link to this very forum asking if we get enough messages of praise/desperation/longing/frustrationaboutnotgettingtickets/love/and general awe! whether they would consider dropping by for a warm up gig in jolly ole' Stafford.

The letter reads as follows:

Dear Noel and Julian,

While you are warming up your cockles and practising for the larger shows that my friends and I cannot get tickets for, for love nor money, ...and believe me we've TRIED......what about dropping by the Gatehouse Theatre in Stafford http://www.staffordgatehousetheatre.co.uk/

It would make the whole of Stafford utterly gleeful with anticipation.....

We have created a petition to fight for our right to rock with the Boosh on our local forum http://www.staffordforum.com and folks are adding there turnip laced, grape-crushing Boosh inspired comments and anecdotes in your honour!

So, why not drop by and read our Mighty Boosh thread and if inspired to do so, please…..I speak for all of Stafford here…"invade and violate us this year!"

I read the quotes and they made me chuckle. I've been told by many I 'will love it', but on watching Upsetters DVDs I have quite honestly fallen asleep...zzzzz. Why for me it doesn't work i don't know, but, it just doesn't.

You're probably right, they are quite shite if you sit and look into it too deeply I can see why many don't like it, I think you could describe it quite accurately as 'Stupid' but they just feed my odd sense of humour and I like it. It is cringe worthy sometimes and a bit odd, but I find it really funny.

I would have to agree - I don't watch much TV but I ended up watching a couple of episodes recently and I actually enjoyed it. :)
