Glad you said The Swan is nice. We are staying there overnight next Friday, so will report back (although doubt the works would have paid for the honeymoon suite for us ..)

Moddershall Oaks has lovely rooms, gorgeous food and the added benefit of the spa facilities.

I remember that place when it were nowt but a grotty little farm.
The village is the bestest ever in the whole wide world. And the bestest person ever was born there (Me)!!

Another vote here for The Moat House.

I stayed here for two nights here recently for my wedding.
I stayed the night before and got ready there and we both stayed there on the wedding night.

We chose not to stay in the honeymoon suite...I didn't like the decor.

We chose one of the four poster suites.

It was really lovely and the breakfast there is scrummy.

How do I edit this?
A thread title asking for "Wedding night help" might perhaps have been phrased better.

I hope you get to spend your wedding night somewhere nice, due to room booking issues @Goldilox and I spent our wedding night in a slightly sad Travel Lodge in Liverpool city center (not back in our lovely flat as had been the plan)
