Donate blood in Stafford.

Having had to give up donating at about the 40 pint mark a long time ago (because of drugs I was put on) I'm interested that you are now told where your donations go. We had to guess that there was an urgent op at the hospital because there was a regular group of B~ donors who were called in at the same time.

I presume that they've always been able to do it - it has to be traceable, after all - you just get a text saying where yours has been issued.

I've just had another text to say that some lucky person has my bodily fluids circulating in them now - yet again, it was in a place where I once lived - odd.

And, still a southerly flow.

Ah, my fluids have been injected into a recipient in Margate - still a southwards flow - but, for the first time, not a place that I have previously lived in.

They don't want my fluids, :( I think it's the battery acid in the blood that
puts them off, either that or it's just too rich for the plebs. :rich:

Another southward flow has been reported, this time to a place that I probably don't want to go to - Slough.
