Next door, is Gainsborough Works.
A few creatives have units/studios inside. Gainsborough Arts had studio and gallery space (Dawn, not sure of her surname, played a big part in opening that space, originally) but now I understand it to be on the market, or back with the landlord?

The building's perhaps not to everyone's taste, but I like it.

I understand that some aspects of that activity have transferred to a room in the Northfields Centre off Stone Road / Co-operative Street.

Looks like the old house on Greyfriars Place is finally getting some work done on it, also looks like the rear buildings have been demolished.

That's crazy - I was sure that was for the wrecking ball - would you live there?

Spend an afternoon riding a bicycle, nice and slowly, weaving back and forth, up and down the terraces of that whole area.

Stop whenever something catches your eye - it will be regularly.

That's an obscene amount of money for a house next to a main road and in that condition... got a nice, strong and stable house in a quiet part of down for 162k that was habitable from the start not too long ago.

The prices of some places around here do baffle me. Old, pretty murky houses with small rooms going for the same prices of much nicer ones.

If nothing catches your eye you can always shout "dickhead" at passing motorists.
