How do I edit this?
I need about a half dozen items of musical equipment PAT tested. Doe anyone know a local firm that won't charge the earth?

Most of them seem quite reasonable in price for larger numbers of items but often seem to have big minimum charges.

I do know people who've taken that option but I'd actually like to make sure my back is covered in the event of it all going wrong.

Someone else (who definitely isn't me) has also frequently got away with just agreeing to make sure it's done and never being asked for a certificate.

It's often used as a bit of a scam by events venues to try and get punters to hire from their list of 'approved' acts but in this instance I'm pretty sure it's down to genuine safety concerns.
