Does anyone have a 9.5 mm gauge cine projector they want to sell - or possibly even loan or hire out ? Any model in any condition considered (I can fix it). These home cine projectors were last manufactured in the 1950’s so are now around 60+ years old. If you have an old projector in the shed / loft and you’re not sure what it is, I would be able to identify it from a snapshot or the manufacturer’s plate. Thank you for any responses / leads.

There's one currently advertised on eBay for £19.95 plus postage.

I searched on cine and it's about the fourth item down.

Uncanny ! And you didn't have any luck finding a projector locally either - I'll have to look further afield. I and several of my schoolmates had Pathescope 'Ace' projectors back in the 50's and often bought films from photographic supplies shop Embassy Studios (roughly where Laura Ashley shop is on W'ton Road).

No, I got Peter Rogers to copy it for me in the end. It was a film I found in a shed clearance - all strange stuff.

I did a bit of work as a projectionist in my youth. I was projectionist to the Bishop of Lincoln for a bit, but I've never even seen a 9.5 projector. It seemed to be a continental system. The film I found seemed to have been made in Switzerland.
