Examples of poor driving you have witnessed!

Chell Road - AGAIN! Nearly had to get out and see if she'd taken paint off, cutting me up at the end of the filter to gain one place!

That's strange, the other day I thought wouldn't it be good if there were a text number or website where you could log/report the middle/outside lane hogging numpties. Then after x amount of negative reports said numpties were sent an official letter from DVLA/plod explaining their driving was not acceptable to other road users and they would be investigated.

I appreciate the evidence can't be used to prosecute said numpties but it may make them think about how they actually drive and conduct themselves.

Fantastic place to park your Chelsea tractor or what?

Not only did the bus have to swerve around this ignorant driver but also had to stop 10 yards away from the raised bus stop area.

What a cockess!!!!

"Qashqai" is of Iranian origin - interestingly, it is not used for the USA market.

They seem to think that "Rogue Sport" is a better bet for there.

People love to do this a lot in the Sainsbury's car park too. They park right behind the ticket machine nearest the store (the one on the little island) and bugger off into the store for half an hour.

I can't believe this piece of driving, you've got to love the driving standard around Stafford.

As it says on Youtube ...

"This professional Large Goods Vehicle driver for Huws Gray Builders Merchants pulls out from Crab Lane, Stafford on to the A34 Stone Road without stopping at the Give Way junction."

Neither the lorry nor the vehicle from which it was filmed stopped ..... and I'm not sure I'd stop either.

Both junctions are Give Way, I believe, out of Crab Lane and onto the roundabout, neither of the exit manoeuvres seemed to cause any issues, unless the first one was a lot closer than it looked, maybe due to a wide-angle lens? He presumably had reasonable vision over the hedge?

My bad.

Because the video continued to the roundabout, I'd assumed that was where the issue was. Personally I'd have stopped at Crab Lane as they can get up to a bit of speed on that dual carriageway .... but, as you say, the lorry driver may have had a reasonable view over that hedge (stop the video at 0:18).

Am I missing something ?

"The approach to a junction may have a ‘Give Way’ sign or a triangle marked on the road. You MUST give way to traffic on the main road when emerging from a junction with broken white lines across the road.
Laws RTA 1988 sect 36 & TSRGD regs 10(1),16(1) & 25"

I am assuming that due to the elevated position of the driver that he/she had a better view of oncoming traffic than most and that because they were moving to the outside lane they wouldn't encroach on the oncoming car with the dashcam.

In respects to the roundabout there is no requirement for the driver to stop and given their elevated position they could see that there was space to continue....

Correct. But you must bare in mind that the author of said video has a history of being a bit of a twat in his assessment of many of the 'crimes' he publishes on YouTube.

Ah...I missed that bit
I subscribe to his channel as he's local in case I ever appear on there as a thought criminal, mini roundabout abuser or other sundry miscreant behaviour...

To be fair, there are some real shockers on there, equally some where you think he probably needs to get out more.

Is that all it takes to warrant publishing your dash cam footage to YouTube?

I have so much gold on that 16gb micro SD sitting in my car and I didn't even know it. I'll be rich from YouTube ad money!

I don't think the elevated position counts for much, as the lorry appears too late. To paraphrase the sticker on the back of lorries "If you can't see me, I can't see you". How soon does the lorry appear before they arrive at the junction?. I am glad I wasn't cycling on Stone Road approaching that junction.

I subscribe to their Youtube channel, I agree some of the stuff posted is trivial but it still highlights the poor driving standards around Stafford.
