What's happening to the old KFC?

Hey guys, I've noticed that the site where the old KFC building near the old Jobcentre Plus site is being demolished and I was wondering if there was any news on what was happening with the site?

They've taken so much out the place, it's literally just a shell now. It would have been less hassle to just level the place and start from scratch tbh .

Whilst on the subject of that area, the old job centre site had been fully compromised last time I walked past with kids roaming around n smashing windows, some of the upper floors have name tags on the windows too.

At this rate, it'll be torched before long. I wish they'd board the place up .

All work seems to have stalled on the place and there's a notice out the front dated August / September 2018 saying something about they applied for retrospective planning permission.

All the planning seems to be agreed , so wonder why they stopped ?
