Stop at the mini roundabout for 20 minutes whilst you read Stafford's version of war and peace (i.e. the signs), ask the audience, phone a friend and then go straight on, unless its after 9 p.m. in which case turn right, unless ...............................

It seems a bit odd, when you can legitimately arrive at that point by threading your way down the much busier Mill Street. Would Mill Bank have huge traffic issues without the restrictions? Maybe it's a ploy to avoid rat-running to escape the Newport Road fiasco?

Saw on Facebook fixed penalty fines of £100 will be given if caught for using Mill Bank. Odd, Mill Street is fine but not Mill Bank.

Mill Street is on way that has only ever been accessible from the top end. I have never ever seen a car going the wrong way up mill street, so that is not a problem area.

Going up mill bank specifically from South Walls which clearly has a no entry sign and turn right only sign ( onto greengate walk), but is being used as a rat run for lazy drivers especially. The one I saw last week ( as stated in another thread) flew straight across the mini without considering anything might be coming from greengate street. The issues with that is those getting to that roundabout from greengate street are not expecting/ looking for anyone coming left from south walls . It is only a matter time until a pedastrian or cyclists comes off poorly.

I am lazy then, use it all the time, must never have paid attention to the signs. Don't understand why more than anything, what is the thinking behind not allowing traffic?
