More cuts to Stafford Hospital A&E

HopesDad

Don't feed the troll
Latest cut is that consultants will only be available in A&E between 8am and 5pm.
Anyone who has the audacity to need treatment outside those times will be seen by a junior doctor or a ‘senior nurse’.

Everything will be OK though because MP Lefroy will be ‘watching closely’. From his office. In London.

I wouldn't worry , once this lousy Tory government has most of the NHS privatised , then we will get whatever treatment we need.

( Providing they accept most credit cards )

As previously stated , you get what you vote for .. providing you can afford it ;)

"50,000 people can't be wrong".........and then proved a lot of them were!
If you wish for something you have to follow it up with action rather than hoping everybody else does the right thing.

Has anybody been to the children's A&E department recently. Another cock up!

A couple of years ago alot of money was spent creating a fantastic cchildrens A&E department, which was completely separate to the main A&E department. A great idea. Alas it was a waste of time.

If your child now needs A&E treatment they have to be triaged in the scary (for children) main A&e department. Once triaged that nurse then has to escort you to the children's A&E department but not to the lovely, expensive waiting room that was funded a couple of years ago. No, your taken to a little room behind the lovely waiting room. The lovely waiting room is now filled with loads of mismatching chairs and appears to resemble a discharge lounge. A total waste of money.

Enjoying a drop of red.
I'm sure our esteemed MP will have something of importance to say about this in the future.

I for one will be emailing him Monday morning to find out what he as my elected representatives intends to do about it and I would urge others to do the same.

It's gone way too far now.

When you know that your hospital is being downgraded, but your Towns population is growing - then hear that nurses don't want to move to Stoke, as things are in such a state that they want to go to other hospitals!

NOBODY LISTENS!

PS CARE IS NOT SPELT "K.P.I"

No but when the NHS is doing more than it has ever done before without a bottomless pit of money care is becoming spelt GBP

Having personally suffered the shortfalls of the NHS this year I can assure you that the NHS is not doing more than it has ever done before!!!! It is absolutely disgraceful and an utter shambles!!!
