Bloo is okay!

After the sick episode, he perked up and was absolutely fine. The wife gave in at 2am and fed him as he was whining the house down. Went downstairs this morning and he was curled up asleep on top of his wooden lodge with his home made cushions and spare Splatoon squid plush.

Just to give you an idea of how pampered this cat is.

Peeled enough onions sink the Titanic, leaving them soaking in salt water till later tonight. Makes a total of 20 jars done this last 2 weeks. Even did a few of Piccalilli, can't stand the stuff personally.
Apologies to anyone I breathe onion fumes on in the next few days.

Are you flying off somewhere nice ?

Yes and no, I am flying out to Baltimore tomorrow morning, watching a singer that is fairly unknown outside of Baltimore, but its her first gig in 12 years, then flying back on Sunday. Its going to be pretty hard going but I have liked this singer since 2001 and was gutted when she retired so I have to go. She is called Mary Prankster, as I said pretty unknown outside of Baltimore.

Are you staying on the waterfront?

Never heard of Mary Prankster before, and had to google Maryland to see where it is. But now enjoying listening to Mary Prankster in the background as I type :)
Have a great time !

Getting ready for my doctors appointment yet again to try to clear this cough up that I've had since July/August and ended up in Torquay hospital through in September. Seen a different doctor each time, and different diagnosis each time. Last weeks doctor gave me anitbiotics as my ears are now badly affected by it as well, but most of those ended up being spewed up down the loo whilst suffering with a stomach bug .

Still suffering from shock after only making this appointment yesterday and getting one for today with my favourite doctor . Nomally have to wait weeks to see any doctor at all at our surgery. There again, haven't had the usual text confirmation yet....:hmm:

I'm guessing you don't go to the Beaconside one then.

The Piccalilli has all gone, you can have a jar of onions when they're ready if you want?

My surgery is back to it's normal crap self again, after my fluke next day appointment. Sent for urgent chest xrays tonight, and Dr told me to go back to see him. Hospital said results could be back at surgery by late tomorrow afternoon as the GP wanted results urgently, so to make appointment to see my GP in next few days.............called in doctors surgery on way back from hospital to make an appointment......next available appointment to see any doctor at all is apparently 18th December ! :ohno:

Whilst treating myself to a cream cake and slice of pizza in the hospitasl bakery, someone next to me was buying a warm pasty for her mother who was an in-patient as the hospital had no warm food left now for the patients . Bloody ridiculous !!!

That's good! Ours is now "Sorry we have no appointments available in the foreseeable future. Either phone in tomorrow morning and we'll get a doctor to phone you, or come and sit in the waiting room for hours and if we get the opportunity we'll try to fit you in"
