Out of all the records the Beatles/individual members have ever recorded, this has always been my favourite.
I'm not a massive Beatles, always preferred the Monkees myself. But I absolutely love this record and I have no idea why x

Yes, certainly Ringo's best track. George Harrison co wrote it and the original album 'Ringo' was virtually another Beatles album with John, Paul and George all playing/singing on it.

Even with the whole 'not even the best drummer in the Beatles' jibe ringo-ing in the collective conscious, it was always obvious that he was the 'glue'.

There is a track attributed to him on all of their albums, regardless of his involvement, to ensure that he would receive enough royalties to live comfortably thereafter.

Everybody loves Ringo.

Well done Coventry.

As a stand alone -

Ay ay ay...

Coventry is a surprisingly interesting choice, it occupies a crucial part of England's story.

At more than one time it was a de facto capital of the Nation - i may be mistaken, but i'm almost sure that Parliament has been called there at least more than once.

I'm being vague, i know.

But i'm quite far gone as it is.
