It's max two hours 24/7 on that car park.

I don't think that car park is open 24/7.

I think they lock the gates once Aldi has closed.

The Gatehouse theatre were trying to work with the owners of the car park so that theatre customers could park there but they weren't interested.

I'd be interested if it is now open 24/7 because when I'm working at the theatre it would be really handy for me.
Although if it's still only two hours in the evening I still wouldn't be able to park there.

Back to the Bankhouse....how does one book if you're not on Facebook?

Hi All,

Exciting times at the Bank House. Introducing Chef Diego, Cancun, Mexico, which opened Dos Burritos, an authentic American - Mexican - TexMex restaurant. The menu has a number of old favorites, including the Route 66 & Veggie burger, but also has some lovely additions including burritos and fajitas.

We are open 7 days a week through the festive season for lunch anddinner.

In addition to Dos Burritos, Bank House Coffee is still open crafting specialty coffee and a bakery.

The restaurant is Bring Your Own Booze. So, park at Aldi, 2 hours max, grab some wine and pop over for an authentic TexMex experience.

For bookings, please send a message via Facebook.

Cheers,
Jonathan

I think most readers would assume he isn't advising drink driving. Most people go out for a meal with others & it's really surprising that nominated drivers don't usually drink.
The only thing that occurred to me about parking at Aldi is 2 hours doesn't leave a lot of time to get your booze, have a leisurely meal, get back to the car park & get out through the anpr cameras.

The above wasn't the final draft (The prices are all cheaper in reality too)

I went in the other day, they have brought back the burgers and (I <3 their veggie burgers), and a few other items back off the beans menu.

Also, I had the Veggie Mission Burrito (£8.50) .... it was amaaaazing.

Reopened today. Had a quick word with Jonathan.

For the time being he's focusing on the business as a coffee shop, so its just drinks and cakes for the time being. I asked about the burgers and he said he might resurrect them for a quiz night.

Hours are now Tuesday to Saturday 10:00 to 16:00.
I believe it's open 11am to 3pm tomorrow (Sunday) - and, possibly, other Sundays, too.

To be fair, it's the only day he's closing before 8pm, and he doesn't have the amount of staff he used to.

The cafe is open Monday and Tuesday from 10 am to 4pm. Chef Diego has these days off, so the normal menu will not be on. Instead, it is me in the kitchen and I cooked up some meatball sandwiches, veggie lasagna, spinach quiche and cream of broccoli soup.

I hope to see you here!
