Just as a reminder to everyone now that this has continued onto page 6. A number of people have been affected by Mark Jackson and GEO Build and many of you have expressed an interest in coming to a meeting that we are organising. I will write back to all that have inboxed me seperately but we are thinking of having the meeting on the evening of Friday January 5th. Exact time and venue to be confirmed nearer the date.

Ah well @Joski as you know because I sent you a private message we are going to be unavailable on that date.

I'm the person that started the thread, took the time out to alert people to Mark Jackson and Geobuild so as you can imagine we're extremely disappointed that you've chosen a date that you know that we can't make.

Not to worry, the main thing is making sure that Mark Jackson gets his come uppance.

That's poor show really @Joski to be honest.

Thanks @proactive

My husband and I do feel a bit miffed.

Mark Jackson has been in business for years, and probably been ripping people off for years too.

I do feel that this thread (started by me) has alerted many others that have been victims of his dishonesty.

We were definitely going to bring Mark Jackson to justice but we were going for the slow burn, to get more names, more people coming forward.

My husband is an expert at dispute resolution and would have been a good person to have at the meeting

However, if someone wants to rush this through by having a meeting in January then I wish them all the best.

Like I said, as long as the end result is the same and Mark Jackson doesn't rip people off again then it doesn't matter who achieves it.

This escalated quickly, I am sure it was just proactiveness and not alienation.

Perhaps you're right.

To be fair to Angela and Joe ( @Joski ) they probably just want to get on with it and if they've got the time and the inclination to push this forward then I honestly wish them all the best.

I personally feel though that it would have been better to have collated names and people of interest and then organise a date to include as many people as possible.

However, and I'm repeating myself here, as long as Mark Jackson stops ripping people off then we will have achieved what we set out to achieve.

We wouldn't have have been able to organise anything for a while yet, so perhaps it's better all round that someone else takes the reins.

@Carole - a bit harsh to publicly vindicate people who are trying to help. Don't take it so personally, we all want the same thing!

@Joski - I will be travelling with work on that date. Would it be possible to move it to a date where we can all make it? Perhaps a Wednesday evening, or an early morning one weekend?

I disagree. Meeting to talk through a plan is a great idea. Collating names etc. could take ages and be a lengthy process and if we are all disjointed there will be crossover and some may just lose interest if it drags out. Its good to be pro-active and get a plan in place so we can be efficient! We can have more meetings in the future!

I disagree.

Collecting names from a) the people who have replied on this forum and b) the names that @Villager collected from the facebook messages would take a few days at most.

Then contacting those people with a choice of a few dates and waiting for replies takes a few more days.

Then choose a date to suit the majority.

It just seems an odd way to go about it to pick a date and just hope people can make it.

And I wasn't publicly vindicating someone for trying to help, if you read my messages I said that as long as Mark Jackson gets his come uppance that's the main thing.

However I had already private messaged @Joski saying that I'd like to come to a meeting if they organised one, I told them when I was available and yet they chose a date knowing full well that I couldn't make it. So it does seem a little personal in my opinion.

If I was organising a meeting I'd personally want as many as possible, but each to their own.

Hi All - really sorry, didn't mean to cause any upset - I think we've had enough of that through Mark! This meeting will obviously be for EVERYONE affected by the actions of Mark Jackson. I'm sure there will be more than just the one meeting but let's forget about the 5th January. How about going for any date between 16th and 19th January (I know Carole will be around then) - perhaps go for something in between like Wednesday 20th but happy to go with the flow. I thought that evening would be better because of work commitments etc.....hope that's OK for all.
Cheers

Seemed like your were massively over-reacting that's all. :)

Thanks @Joski for coming back and accommodating, much appreciated!

@Joski and I have just exchanged a few private messages and it's all sorted now.

I apologised for having a paddy but I really want to be at that meeting.

You might think it's an over reaction but I'm passionate about justice being done, that's why I started the thread in the first place.
It's important to me that's all.
