It worked best when it was Sketchleys. Sketchleys closed after Timpsons bought Mister Minit and didn't want Sketchleys, so sold the brand off to Johnsons who didn't want any of the franchises. After only a couple of years, Timpsons then began to open small supermarket shops & outside booths - everything goes round in circles ay?

Mmmm. because it wasn't! :heyhey: This may have been affected by me really looking forward to it coming! I know we have plenty of choice but they had a few items/ranges I was looking forward to taking advantage of, not so much I am planning to go to Stone to get 'em of course! Hope that answer meets your approval! ;) :hug:(It may also have been affected by being a grumpy old miserable git! Ed )

Has anyone mentioned the work being done on the shop next to Oxfam? Think it used to be a sweet shop? No idea what it's going to be though.

Argos isn’t moving into the pharmacy area in Sainsbury’s. It’s moving to where the pet food is currently located.

One of the advertising hoardings, on the green by the roundabout, blew down a week or so ago. Maybe they're using the bits?

Oh has that closed? Their prices were pretty high, and we do already have a well established Ye’Olde so not really much room for competition... especially down that alley
